Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday. Not really for any reason in particular, but just because I think everyone needs to take time to really understand what they have to be grateful for in life. So often we take things in life for granted and we ought to be thankful for what we have, not focused on what we don't possess. We all need to realize that we have been granted a measure of health and life that few in the world every actually see. Moreover, as long as we are in the light of God, what else can we ask for?

This year, I am exceptionally grateful for many things. I am grateful for Jesus and the opportunity to go to heaven. I am grateful that my second son was born and my wife had a successful delivery. I am grateful for every second I have with my family. I am grateful that I have wonderful friends. I am grateful because I have a wonderful job. I am grateful for sweet potato casserole at my Granny's house.
I can't wait!
